I've been wanting to try Beignets for a long time, I finally found an opportunity on a recent business trip. Crescent City set the bar very high! Crispy on the outside, full and fluffy inside, so good. The entire breakfast was great, less than $13 for Eggs Duo, 2 beignets, and OJ, that's a great value. So many restaurants seem to be raising prices due to Covid, but they have not. It was so good, I went a little out of my way on the last day of my trip for a 2nd meal. There was a different cook, and I found the beignets just a little too well done compared to the first visit, but still very very good. Beware they currently open at 9am, I believe Yelp shows 8am unless it's been corrected since.

I've been wanting beignets for a couple months now, got some not so good beignet frys from some place and some beignets from somewhere else that just didn't do it. Finally got Crescent city beignets which didn't disappoint, they hit the spot and satisfied my craving. They also have outside seating which I asked about and they allow dogs, which is nice because it's next to a Woofgang dog bakery.I'll be going back with the dogs next time.
