The carnitas sandwich I had the other day was fantastic, and I'm pretty picky about carnitas. I wish this menu and restaurant could be more up-front about ingredients, though. When I ordered online I wanted to specify that I didn't want the sandwich to be toasted with butter since it gives me breakouts, but their online ordering thing doesn't allow you to enter any notes. I was curious enough about a new place and this sandwich to order it anyway. I just ate it hoping it didn't have butter on the bread ... I'll know in a week how screwed I am I guess. Good food if you don't have any dietary issues though and inside of the place looks cute.

FREMONT'S FINEST!! I had the pleasure of dining at Crumby Sandwich & Spirits this evening and was blown away by the quality and creativity of the food and cocktails! I was warmly greeted by the owners who immediately made me feel welcome as a solo diner at the bar. I ordered the crab cake sandwich which came on a toasted bun with two very large crab cakes, perfectly cooked crispy bacon, Serrano aioli, iceberg lettuce and pickled shallot. I was surprised by how affordable the price was for how generous the portions were! Chef Brandon is an incredibly talented chef and every element of the sandwich complimented the next. It was by far the most gourmet meal I've ever had on a bun! Bartender Dylan's cocktail list is both creative and whimsical. I had seen pictures of the Tadpole cocktail on Crumby's Instagram page and knew that I had to try it, rum with lime, basil, cucumber and chia seed "tadpoles", it was too fun!! The cocktail was refreshing and light from the cucumber and herbal notes and the little chia seeds added a delightful texture and "pop"! My dining experience felt both thoughtful and exciting. Owner Erica is the perfect hostess, her big smile and friendly conversation made my dining experience feel like I was spending it with old friends. I can't sing their praises loud enough. THANK YOU Brandon, Dylan & Erica, I am already planning my next visit, and...
