A happening spot great for big groups, families, celebrating or a meal out. It's noisy but that makes it great for certain situations. The street tacos have a lot of flavor & pack a punch for how tiny they are. $6 kids meals with a decent selection. GREAT chips & salsa. Friendly & accommodating staff.

Been here twice now and the food and service are stellar. Without question one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Northside OTP. Some unique dishes, the spices and marinades are fantastic. Highly recommended!

Husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at the CT Cantina & Taqueria in Halcyon arena. We thought we give this place a try as we both love Mexican foods and wanted to try a new place to eat.  We were giving a paper menu and a large bowl of hot fresh fried chips and variety of salsas in tin bowls: verde, pico de gallo, red and mole type salsas. We decided on the Asada Fries appetizer and really enjoyed these a lot!  For lunch he opted for Steak Quesadilla while I chose Mix and Match Mini tacos: Shrimp, Steak, and Al Pastor. The tacos arrived with a burn your mouth scott bonnett type salsa! It was good as long as I used my fork to drizzle as this was HOTHOTHOT!!!   Overall we both loved the quesadilla with fried shell folded with thick gooey melted cheese. I especially loved the FRESH guacamole that came with his plate. We would have preferred to have option of salt and pepper at the table to season the chips. It was a nice visit and we probably will return soon when it warms up. It seems to be a mini imitation of Avalon but there are still construction going on around the curve - literally.
