Came out for dinner. Carlos at the bar was amazing. The drinks he made were exceptional, very well balanced, not too strong, not overly sweet. Will definitely be back again!

This place used to be our favorite Mexican place to eat especially for my Birthday, Graduation, and so on, but it seems lately that the servers have been seriously slipping in terms of sanitation and quality control. I and my partner of twenty years had invited our friend by the name of Jerry. We were celebrating his sixth birthday, however, we had a political conversation about Black women being appointed for supreme court judge, jobs, COVID-19 relief ,and unemployment, millennials in the workforce that just do not function within the work place at all, automated machine cons over pro's ,etc , we did not realized that it took fifty five minutes for us to decide what we were going to have for lunch, even though we just kept on snacking on tortilla chips and drinking cocktails like margaritas, Long Island Iced Teas with a shot of Vodka. Finally, when we did decide on what we were going to order for lunch, Jerry had fish tacos and refried beans, my partner had the same food order. I had the Cyclone Anaya's Chicken Salad. We could only have just one bite of our meal because we were so stuffed on Tortilla chip, we could not even finish our meal, so Jerry had ordered a separate order for his partner to go. When I had go home and started to put our food order away as well as snack on the Tortilla Chips I had noticed that a piece of wooden stick was in the Styrofoam container of chips. This would be my last time coming here period.

Cyclone Anaya’s is a wonderful restaurant with delicious food, fantastic service, all served inside a beautiful restaurant. My entire family loves this Cyclone Anaya’s, and we have enjoyed celebrating 3 special family birthdays at Cyclone Anaya’s Mexican Kitchen at 5214 Morningside Dr. in Rice Village area of Houston. Be sure to ask for Armando or Oscar.
