I was just randomly reminded of my last visit to this place, ten years ago, and so I thought I'd look it up to see what the reviews were like. And after reading them, I feel compelled to leave my own. About 10 years ago, Dairy Queen started featuring a blizzard creation called the Reindeer Bites blizzard, and it became my go-to at the time. Normally, I'd get blizzards at the Hwy 277 location when I'd be in town visiting family because it was nearby. But that day, while my grandmother was with me, we were close to the location on N. Mockingbird, so we stopped there instead. At the drive-through, I asked them for a Reindeer Bites blizzard, which I'd ordered many times at our usual DQ on the south side of town. I was told by the girl inside that they didn't have it. So then, I told them they had all the ingredients, which are standard at any franchise location; "coconut, caramel, pie pieces, and chocolate chips". After about a full minute of dead silence and no response, I said "Hello?"? The girl finally said (again) "we don't have that". I asked her which of those ingredients they didn't have. Her response was "I asked, and my manager said WE CAN'T MAKE THAT". ??? So I left. Later I went to the Hwy 277 location, and *they made it for me like always with no problem*. But seriously, "We can't make that"?!? Are you kidding me? I'd advise against visiting the N. Mockingbird DQ even if you're in the neighborhood. Seriously, is this location a front for money laundering or something? H...
