This dairy queen is awesome! It's super conveintly located. It's very clean and you couldn't get friendly employees. Food is delicious and ice cream is great. I love adding cheesecake pieces to my blizzard. Also I think this is the only place on steinwheir avenue with a public restroom. This is the place to grill and chill.
Tommy's is Trash
Very clean and well established. The bald guy who owns the place is a very nice gentleman who seems to love taps sports baseball. By far my favorite restaurant in Gettysburg.

After a long day at Gettysburg National Military Park, I stopped off at this Dairy Queen Grill & Chill for a bite to eat. I came in to this Dairy Queen and it was nice to see a hand sanitizer dispenser present given that we are still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The cashier was a younger gentleman and he was kind and friendly. He took my order of a Reese's blizzard and a chicken fingers basket. Although my order was placed very quickly and I received my Reese's blizzard quickly, it took nearly ten minutes to get my chicken finger basket, which definitely took a while. That especially bothered me because I did not want to stay inside of a restaurant for too long because of the COVID-19 pandemic. I thought that my Reese's blizzard was very good and I enjoyed how many pieces of Reese's cups that they put in. There is a toy soldier store next to this Dairy Queen, but Dairy Queen customers can not use their parking lot. However, there is a parking lot for Dairy Queen customers across the street.
