After reading the reviews, I had high hopes. When we arrived we were told the menu was limited to what he was cooking that day (no big deal, business is slow). Our sodas were well past the expiration (the coke bottle my husband had was withiut carbonationand had an expiration of May 2020), my brother in law had fish that was so over cooked. My husband had goat soup that tasted only like fish, and I had jerk chicken that wasn't even fully reheated. The only part of my food that was warm was the spices on top of the chicken (whi...

Was looking for a new place to try and found this * Dalia's African Cuisine, 364 Garrisonville Rd Suite #101 Stafford, VA 22554  Date inspected: Oct. 19  Total violations: 35  The person in charge could not provide a written employee health. EHS provided a sample employee health policy.  Observed employee's food stored on the prep table where she was making soups.  Observed employee rinse her hands in the 3-compartment sink. EHS discussed this with the employee.  The hand sink in the front of the house and in the kitchen are blocked with equipment. The person in charge removed the items.  Observed no hand soap at the hand sink in the men's restroom and at the kitchen hand sink.  Observed raw shell eggs stored over cooked soups and sauces in the walk in cooler.  Observed uncovered spices in the dry storage area.  Observed plastic containers, dispensing utensils, and counter tops in the prep area that were soiled to site and touch.  Observed both microwaves that require cleaning.  Observed baked fish that was prepared approximately 12:00 am sitting on a shelf that measured 76'F and soup that measured 67'F.  Observed plantains holding at 112'F and fried chicken at 80'F hot holding at improper temperatures.
