I love this place. I eat lunch here a few times a month. They don't miss a beat. Love all the sides and deserts too. My only complaint is they don't have fried okra. Would love to see their take on some.

This is my second time here and it was again excellent! The brisket was extremely tender, the beans had a lot of flavor and my kids loved the Mac and cheese and chopped beef sandwich. The sweet tea was really good and the overall atmosphere was nice and somewhat rustic. The meat market section had a good selection and the prices seemed reasonable. That said I'm from California where everything is crazy expensive, so I'm not sure how the prices compare to other local markets. I will definitely be back!
