This place is the gem of Ashburn, holds candles to BLT, Imperfecto in DC, Del Mar at the wharf and Mortons.  Service is pristine, servers are personable and discreet, drinks are fully leaded, and private rooms and terraces offer leisure dining experiences for all party sizes and occasions.  Seafood preparation and presentation is superb,  the variety of steaks and side dishes is vast, and the atmosphere supports everyone, 5*s all the way!

A hard place to review. We love nice restaurants, and we eat out a lot. What we look for is friendly service and good food. Some places cost more than others. This place costs A LOT. We have eaten at many high end steak houses all over the country and this would rank as a mid level restaurant. The service is hit or miss. Sometimes I get the feeling they are doing my family a favor by taking care of us. The food is okay. The prices are high. I have no problem spending money on a meal if the food and experience is worth it. I just don't think this is it. Some of the appetizers are amazing, but the sides and mains are so overpriced. Again, we often spend hundreds of dollars on a meal. When we do we like to look back and say that was amazing! We have never done that here. I hate to use the word pretentious ,but I think it is appropriate here. We have often seen what appeared to be managers fawning over tables while ignoring us as we tried to get someone's attention to refill drinks. I don't need to be catered to, but for $400 or $500 I really don't enjoy being looked over. It seems to be a place for regulars, and for the price that won't be us. Sort of sad, because it's a place we could...

My significant other and I dined at DC Prime Steaks for the first time. The restaurant is located in a business park with plenty of parking. It has outdoor seating which I did not see until we were leaving the restaurant, but it looked lovely. The ambiance is inviting and there are private rooms to the rear of the restaurant that were in use. We were promptly seated and greeted by our server. However, we were sitting under a vent and the cold air was too much to bear so we asked to be moved to a warmer location. Which unfortunately was right in front of the kitchen door. I ordered warm bread and butter for the table, and my S.O. ordered an apple martini which he enjoyed and said it was smooth. A basket of bread was served with two pieces of white and two pieces of raisin. I had both of the white, the exterior was firm but the interior felt mushy. We ordered the Point Judith Calamari, the portion size was really generous and the ginger dipping sauce was good. However, it was served garnished with lots of chives which I did not expect. I dislike dishes topped with chives and onions. I had to eat around the chives, which was a little...
