A one-of-a-kind dinner experience for sure!My brother and I happened to snag a dinner reservation here, and it was well worth it!We had 13 different courses during this visit's tasting menu and I left stuffed! The wine pairing was awesome and very well thought out. My favorite courses included the garlic soup and the Moscato, the cheese course made of Oaxacan cheese, and the eggplant chips with Romesco sauce. The intimacy of this restaurant and entire presentation that these folks display is unlike any other restaurant in Houston. Honestly if Houston had Michelin Star restaurants, this place would make the list. They're always changing their menus so I'll definitely look for a future occasion to dine here again! Next time, I'd like to try Diversion cocktails next door.

A gastronomic adventure of epic proportions, Degust proves that location isn't everything. A little off the beaten path in a deceivingly unassuming building, Degust isn't in any of Houston's posh districts. In fact, it's literally on the other side of the railroad tracks. And yet, dare I say, the experience was akin to those I and my foodie friend have had at Michelin starred restaurants all over the world. The dining room is an intimate circle surrounding the chefs' prep area, and each of the 10 unique courses was prepped before our eyes. Every dish was stunning on the palate. Every. Single. Dish. All were a feast for the eyes, nose, and mouth in both taste and texture. Seasoning was precise and flavors were unique and boldly memorable. The standout of the evening was the duck, which was elevated to spectacular with the addition of the gorgeously seared foie gras. The meal was definitely a splurge but well worth every cent, and we agreed we'd love to return when the menu changes in a few months
