YUM! We are Chicago natives and this is our go to when craving a deep dish pizza! We live an hour north and it well worth the drive. Excellent friendly staff and chefs!

For tonight's date night shenanigans we landed ourselves in a corner at the University Village. Dinner was to be the ever so popular Summer hangout, Delfino's Chicago Style Pizza. Every summer their patio is full and nobody comes out without one of their pizza boxes. Finally on this cold night we were going to find out why. We arrived just in time to get a table of our choice by the window. Not even 10 minutes later the entire restaurant was full and they were seating people in their overflow back room. Leanne was our host and server. Service with a smile is what we immediately received. When my hubby told her it was our first time she did not hesitate to give us a low down on how to decipher the menu.
