Delta Fresh Foods in Antioch

I was super excited for the store to open and went immediately. It was terrible from day one. I have no problem paying more for quality foods but these are foods I can get anywhere so why would I pay double? I ran in today to grab bread & found out it was their last day. Surprise! Even at 1/2 price it's overpriced and customer service is terrible.

When I first heard that Delta Fresh Foods was gonna be opening in the former Fresh And Easy, I was excited. But when I first went in, I realized I was back in 2012 (when Fresh and Easy first opened). The whole supermarket looks the same. There were a few changes (like a dining court outside and a free charging station. And they also serve coffee and breakfast here and they're open from 6am to 2am), but it's not like I hate them right? I look at the prices. They are so freaking expensive! They were way expensive than what Fresh and Easy used to sell. God, I cannot believe anyone would love to shop there. Thank god that they're closing. It's terrible and the prices are unbelivably high!

Don't eat the pre made food! Absolutely horrible. I had the tamale with rice and I couldn't finish it. The tamale was dry with zero flavor. The rice had a sour taste so I couldn't finish it. The second meal I had was the pork and beans. Both the pork and beans had a sour taste. The pork tasted extremely salty. The ingredients just tasted bad. The meals were so bad that I wanted to return them! Unfortunately I live in Oakland and didn't feel like wasting gas just to return a couple of $6 meals. I went there during the 25% off sale so...
