Ding Tea in Houston

The location of this place is kinda hidden, the windows looking from outside are all tinted and dark, but one big advantage of coming here is the fast service and there is rarely a big waiting line. The quality of the milk tea is superb, price is very reasonable, they offer big and small sizes, you can adjust the sweetness level from 0-100%. We tried the Hokkaido oolong milk tea and the signature milk tea, the milk tea is creamy and smooth, we highly recommend trying their golden boba, they don't taste too different from the traditional black pearls, but they look cool, light hazel colored and they taste fresh and perfectly sweetened. We have also visited Ding Tea in Katy, and it's consistently great!

I have been here a total of 3x since it's opened and for good reason. Not only are the drinks subpar, the service sucks (not to mention the whole racist owner/manager scandal a while back). My friend entered a giveaway last year in Feb 2021 and was told she had a year to redeem her two free drinks. We went last night and when she showed them her DM on Instagram, they made her look up the contest post as further proof. So she had to scroll to last year and find it. Then the workers there were whispering to themselves behind the counter and messaging the owner/manager or whoever's in charge to verify it (do they not know what to do when the owner/manager isn't there?). In the end they said it wasn't valid and was expired even though it wasn't even a full year yet (would expire next month Feb 2022). I wouldn't have stepped foot here if it wasn't for the free...
