Dish Society in Houston

Several thoughts to consider, I know: -drive time -extra stops made by the delivery driver before your order actually arrives -food preparation But, I used UberEats to order lunch from Here today and my food was so mediocre. My hot chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun was drenched and soggy by the time it arrived, having gone through the ringer it looked like. Overkill of the slaw and the sauce that accompanies the slaw was oozing out in all directions and had reached the bottom of the pretzel buns. It's super messy and I think they just slabbed on too much slaw. The chicken was cold, dry and over cooked. When i bit into my sandwich it was cold. Chips were overly greasy and over-fried. I have driven by this place so many times in the heights and have always wanted to try. I finally stopped by for brunch last week and will definitely be coming back!! I got the chicken biscuits and gravy with a prickly pear mimosa. Super good and next time I might try the spicy chicken option!! Gave a 4 because the food could have been a little more "piping hot" when coming out of the kitchen but it was still an awesome dish. Cute inside as well.

You can sit out front in the sun, inside the restaurant, or outback in the courtyard. The food is really good & fresh and the service is amazing. When you enter you grab a menu & place your order at the counter while also paying. You can grab any seat & the restaurant will bring your food out to you. My boyfriend ordered the beer flight and loved it. He was able to choose which 4 beers he wanted and he finished every single one. I started off with some wine which was the La Marco Prosecco.
