DJ's Steakhouse in Addison

The drinks were good, the food not so much. Everything seemed to be cooked and prepped before and gave off a microwave taste, some items were overly saturated in cheese or just simply over priced. Example- Appetizer 3 shrimp over a bed of lettuce $16. The owners have a restaurant across the street, the food and drinks are much better. Enjoy!

We wanted to try DJ's Steakhouse for Mother's Day, and it was a horrible decision. We arrived 10 minutes early for our 5:30 reservation and checked in. The hostess told us they were waiting for four tables to leave, and we'd be called in (I was thinking maybe a 30 minute wait). That wasn't true because we were not seated until about 7:30 and only after my sister checked in with the hostess multiple times. During our 2 hour wait, no one came out to apologize, offers complimentary drinks, literally nothing. We just stood there looking around for hours (reminder we had a reservation). When we were finally seated, I was unimpressed by the decor, but I was thankful to be inside. Our hostess gave us the QR code menu, and from there, we chose our meals. Only after we had already chosen what we wanted were we informed that we were given the wrong menu. When we got the special mother's day menu, our server let us know that there were no grits, no ice tea, no rolls, and no cornbread.
