Doc Burnstein's Ice Cream Lab in Arroyo Grande

This Doc Burnstein's Ice Cream Lab is an easy find, off of Branch Street, across the street from a parking lot and free curb parking available as well. Being that I had visited Doc Burnstein's in SLO before, I knew that I wanted to come here with my husband and our little girl dog this past Saturday afternoon. When I walked in around 1:30 pm, I was greeted by a friendly employee behind the counter (my husband and little girl dog were sitting outside at the small bench. Please note that there is no other seating outside like the location in San Luis Obispo and there is a lot of sun exposure out here. We ended up eating our cone diagonally across the street to get away from all that sun exposure). I ended up purchasing: $6.99 for double scoop + 0.99 for waffle cone- I ended up picking lemon chiffon & harvest pie as the 2 ice cream flavors. Earlier, my husband came inside to sample a few flavors while I was outside with our little girl so he choose what he wanted. I liked the lemon chiffon, as it had a nice lemon flavor and was creamy. The harvest pie is pumpkin pie flavored, which is perfect for our fall season. Being that this was placed in a cone, it seems that the harvest pie portion was much bigger than the lemon chiffon, since it was at the bottom of the cone. I liked the harvest pie and thought it was creamy and had just the right amount of sweetness of pumpkin to it.
