I can't believe I haven't been here before. I had the veggie quesadilla. It was probably the best I've had anywhere in Knoxville. It wasn't overfilled. There was just enough cheese. The service was great and the atmosphere is super chill. Definitely recommend.

I've been to this Don Gallo location many times since they opened. It is usually crowded here, but the wait is usually never more than 10-15 minutes. The service has always been good, not exceptional, but good. The food can vary, somethings are great some are average. I would recommend the carnitas or chile verde.

The only good thing about this place is the location. The food costs twice as much as it should - again, zip code. We have given this place three tries and once more during the COVID shut down. The last time was the worst. I called 30 minutes ahead and still waited 20 minutes in the parking lot (six feet apart!!) and watched patron after patron get served and I asked several times about my order. The servers were too busy ferrying fresh (basic, overpriced) margaritas to the people in the parking lot to actually bring the food to people who called ahead. (Margaritas in a parking lot??? People, in a situ...
