We were in the area going to the bank and came across this place.  It is AMAZING!! True authentic Mexican food. Delicious. The service was great and the food was good and LARGE portions.  We will definitely be back!!

I want to begin this review by stating that I would return to Don Pepe Taqueria and Mexican Grill again, but it wouldn't be my first choice.  They are pulling off the social distancing thing just fine.  Everything is clean, wait staff was wearing masks, and you had plenty of space.  The food wasn't my favorite, but I've had way worse.  We've discovered a great way to cut down on calories is to share things, so we got the chicken Chimichanga and beef empanadas and shared that which was pretty good.  I wish they would've included some topping.  They have pico available but we are not onion lovers.  The chimi came with rice, beans and a Mexican "salad" which is lettuce and sour cream, no tomato.  I have to say it was "OK".  The empanada's (2 per order) were potato's and  your choice of beef or chicken.  We had SHREDDED chicken on the chimi and beef in the empanadas. The empanada's were pretty good and nice and crispy.  I would have preferred a crispier chimi, but it was ok.  The chips and dip was good.  I'd give it a try if I were you and then you can make your own opinion.  If this was helpful to you, I hope you will give me a thumbs up!  The prices were fair:  Empanadas $6 for two and you get a side of Aji pique sauce (?).  Chimi's were $11.75.  You can get a wheelchair down their slim entry or you can go in the door by the dining room.
