Decided to stop by for the first time based on reviews, and trying to support more local. I got the sausage jalapeño kolache and the sausage Gravy. Both were really good and tastes freshly made. I agree with previous reviewers in that they don't skimp on the filling. The sausage Gravy kolache was packed FULL of meat. But maybe too much, because it was on the salty side. Maybe it is was from the sausage filling itself, but it took half a cup of coffee to get through it. Having said that, I will definitely be back to try the other goodies I saw.

MUST TRY, MUST GO!Their Donuts are so good! I love the cronuts but they were out today so instead I got a chocolate and peanut one! It's really good and their dough is just so perfect!I get their Jalapeño Kolache and it's super good! I got their chicken enchilada one last time and it was amazing. I was sad to see they sold out! GET THERE EARLY FOR A GOOD SELECTION! Even though I didn't get their Chicken Enchilada I was able to try their Philly Cheesesteak and it was so good! Definitely my second favorite right after the chicken enchilada one.

Woke up this morning craving kolaches. It's hard to find the "right" balance of dough and stuffing for any well-rounded Texas kolache experience. Naturally, I took to Yelp and came across Donut Guys. It's a Wednesday morning here in Houston, and while I was out for a kolache, Yelp bragged that Donut Guys served the elusive cronut. My excitement piqued and the reviews substantially promising, I headed over only to discover that while their weekend menu may brag of a pretty extensive selection, their Wednesday offerings were disappointingly scaled down. No cronuts. No crazy-confectionery creations of donut curiosities. Donut Guys only had a few choices: a sausage and jalapeño kolache and a Tex-Mex bun. Their kolache is a nice balance of meat and dough, their dough is on the sweeter side, but light and fluffy. They were wholly acceptable, but the selection of options as advertised did not match their weekday offerings, so it was a bit disappointing.
