Hubby and I went to Drake's Knoxville for the first time today. We ordered burgers, his was one with beer cheese (no pics) and mine was the Mushroom & Swiss with sweet potato waffle fries. Both were delicious, hot, and fresh. The burgers were very thin, but good flavor. Ordered the fried pickles appetizer, and they were great! Also tried out the Bloody Mary bar. Great idea, horrible Bloody Mary mix! It tasted like ketchup, Tabasco, and black pepper mixed together. Just not good. At.all. I didn't even finish mine. Our waitress was "okay". Manager came by our table as he was making rounds around the restaurant checking on everyone's tables, and he even boxed up our left overs. 4 out of 5 stars, would've been 5 if not for the Bloody Mary mix being inedible. That's a huge deal breaker for me. Our bill total before tip was just over $42. We might go back, but not a place that is a "must have" on my list. Now if they change their Bloody Mary mix to Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix.....
