We went to this bar for a drink before dinner and got a small appetizer as well. We sat in the lounge and an exasperated looking bartender begrudgingly brought us a drink menu. We quickly picked a drink for fear she wouldn't be returning for a while and requested a food menu. She did quickly return, drinks and menu in hand and patiently went through the menu explaining they had "run out" of over half the items. After debating over the sparse menu we decided upon pub chips with French onion dip and walked to the bar to order it. The dip was gritty, the chips either burnt or soggy, with nothing in between. The dip was also so "oniony" that it was barely edible. How do you mess up French onion dip?! No complaints on the drinks, affordable, but we will not be eating there again. Too bad as we are staying in the hotel for a few days.
