Was on a road trip and had to stop for some BBQ when crossing Texas so we chose Dyer's. Oh man the rib plate was pretty good value but everything tasted amazing. Onion rings were nice and crispy, potato salad was a little sweet which I love, coleslaw wasn't too wet, and the ribs were super moist and slipped right off the bone. Would certainly come back here for the ribs alone. Beans and toast also came with the plate but I didn't really enjoy those all that much as they were the most plain thing we tried.

Doesn't look like much when you approach the building but the place is happening with a steady flow of in-room diners. Ribs - nice and moist Brisket - chewy, harder and thicker compared to CA Pulled Pork - nice balance of fat and lean meats Onion Rings - nice and light batter Potatoe Salad - has a nice twang to it with pimento peppers Coleslaw- fresh Bbq sauce overall taste was light and sweeter than CA or NC. Smokey flavors came through nicely. P.S. get a real drink if you don't like the metallic taste of tap water.

Hard to make then best BBQ but this place is definitely a good one. If you're from here it's one of the best you can get. I'm not from here, but this is one of my favorite places in Amarillo! Only downside is some of the sides are greasy.
