Eagle Hotel in Palmer

Room was super clean and very spacious! Felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room. Bed was super comfortable, and the location was very convenient, even in the snow to walk to 2 breweries for an awesome Alaskan crafted beer! On the 3rd floor, I had a fantastic view with large windows! Parking was a tad confusing when I arrived in the dark, in the midst of heavy snow but there is a small lot behind the main street. The room key is done digitally through a texted pin or through an app which was actually really convenient if you're into that type of technology. Great location and stay for the night!

I can tell you this: if you want to stay in a hotel that is dirty, noisy, and unsafe, you have come to the right spot! First, it is not really clean. Hotel rooms, corridors, hallways - they are just filthy. Its like they are cleaned by long-term renters who do the least amount of cleaning possible. My room overlooked the street and it was so noisy I had to let the TV run to drown out the noise. Can you imagine not shoveling off snow or throwing down sand or salt. It is literally difficult to walk in and out of this place. It was so bad I took pictures. The bed's mattress is not an actual mattress. I don't know what it is, but you sink way in until you are surrounded by it and if you move, you kind of slide off. Also, they do not have an actual clerk. They have a phone you can call. When you request something, like clearing snow and ice, you get attitude. I gave them one star only because I had to in order to write this. I selected this hotel only because there was nothing else available. Big mistake.

Had the comfortable king bed on 3rd floor. Great view of pioneer peak and palmer museum. Elevator goes to 2, if youre in a chair or cane make note (please add this info to your room description). Great price even in prime season. Very clean, rustic, very hot water. Couldnt figure out the heater or wifi pw, but i never called to ask either. Please volunteer this information at checkin. Attached cafe was on vacation sadly, but several dining in/carry out places in close visual range. No smoking inside here, so there was no nasty stank to deal with ($250 fee!). $2.00 per cycle pay laundry on 2nd, quarters only, came...
