Decent Chinese food for a decent price. I eat here all the time. I definitely recommend this Chinese restaurant. No frills just wholesome comfort food.

We moved from CT to Virginia a few years back and ever since we haven't been able to find take out chinese like what we were used to, what we think is good. Finally after moving to Alexandria and trying out Eastern Restaurant we can say that we've found good chinese take out! While the egg rolls aren't as good as we had in CT (the wrapper is different somehow and not as bubbly, crispy, or airy) it's by far the best we've had in NOVA so far as many other places were just dripping with grease, overfried, or had bad fillings. The chicken and broccoli is the closest I've had to what I grew up with too. Basically we think this place is great! Not 5 stars, but still definitely the best place we've found!
