Not the biggest or best record store that I've been to. But, definitely one of the coolest.

The alarm went off at 4:00 AM  in Chicago and now it is  9:30 AM and we have just landed in a very rainy Seattle and the first thing we do is head to, Easy Street Records & Cafe and a hearty breakfast.   There are two front doors, one directly into the cafe and one into the record store. I recommend the record store door and prepare to step back to a time when vinyl was king. Sure they have CDs as well but it is just too cool for this old guy to not linger and if I am telling the truth I was happy when we had a 15 min wait for a table. This may seem like an unusual combo but if you like music and you like food this is a must stop for breakfast. The coffee is hot and free flowing which is important when you are in Seattle during one of its wettest Decembers on record which is saying a lot. The menu is full of tasty items and no matter what you order make sure you read all the names and the descriptions. I had the very filling Billy Breakfast Burrito with Chorizo added. The salsa and sour cream made this a meal that would sustain me until a late supper quite nicely. My wife enjoyed the Los Lobos. Which came with 3 eggs, Chorizo, black bean and corn salsa hash browns and a English muffin. On the table was a bottle of Secret Aardvark Habanero Sauce. I would feel like I have not done my job if I didn't whisper to you what that secret is. Keep it to yourself, "this sauce is very, very hot with a slow gotcha after it hits your tongue".  I thoroughly enjoyed it after the first bite but be warned.
