I have been eating at El Cholo for a long time off and on. Santa Monica was the first I ate at and then often in La Habra, and now a few times in Anaheim Hills. Last night my wife and I popped by on the way home from the beach and everything was really so off the charts great that I had to say something this morning. I typically get the Sonora Enchilada, always tasty but sometimes lukewarm, which just doesn't do it justice. Last night the presentation, taste, temperature, and quality of the sides were perfect and on par with my first time in Santa Monica likely 20 years ago that has kept me coming back off and on over the years. My wifes dinner, Mariscos Enchiladas? was fantastic as well. Service was kind and efficient from the gentleman waiter and busser/support gentleman. My wife even bought a recipe book on the way out, lol. Anyway great job with the food last night. Well done and Thank you.
