El Guero Fresh Market in Crest Hill

The staff was friendly but their prices were really high when I walked around and checked. An example the barbacoa it was $10.99 a pound. I called a place I normally go to afterwords and it was $7.99 a pound. Since I was here I purchased 1/2 a pound to try it. It was more like a beef stew without vegetables and was firm and hard. Never again. Stay away from this place.

This grocery store has a nice selection of departments that cover all the essentials that are required and necessary to create that perfect meal. The only thing that was not a requirement, or necessary, was the  harassment I received after I asked about a product inventory.  I was pointed at, laughed at, and called "los chinos" as I was walking away.  I am not sure what made these employees do this, or how my question affected their work day.  But I wanted to be sure that the next customer knows that they might be the next target, and I will also contact the store manager and corporate, as well as displaying this information on other social media platforms. Today I did shop at this market since they sent me an ads to my house and I knew that there was a sale on Coronita beer  24 pk  7 oz bottles for $16.99/ea. The cashier checked my ID and gave out a different price, which was 22.99. I pointed out my question and the cashier told me it was a mistake on ads, I wanted to talk to her manager about this but there was not manager available so I had to return this case of beer. I recommend that anytime you print products on sale you need to give the true information, do not let the customer waiting and wasted their time. I felt very bad about this and hope that every time when the customer need to talk to the manager, let them explain clearly and the cashier should be nice when dealing with such a question. Thanks.
