I love Venezuelan food; I love it more when it is perfectly prepared. El Kourmet offers that in spades. In the times of COVID-19, it's hard to find a good burger that stands up to the challenges of take-out food. El Kourmet's burgers stand up to the test and get a gold medal. Even our pickiest eater found the combination of crispy shoe string potatoes, deliciously grilled ham, a solid burger patty (none of that pre-made stuff here), and their house-made sauce (yummmmm, fresh herbiness!!!) to be worth praising! While I've had a few of their dishes in the past, the ABSOLUTE STAND OUT DISHES this time were: - Beef empanada; it was perfection of fried dough and properly seasoned, flavored beef - Mixed (chicken and beef) Pepitos; That chicken? I'm going back for that chicken - tender, flavorful, juicy, amazingly delicious and perfectly spiced. If you haven't been, go try it. This is homemade food, made to order. The few extra minutes are worth it!
