A downtown Albany must! I no longer live in the area but come every time to visit. Wait staff is super friendly and they have a great gluten free menu. Frozen margaritas are the best I’ve ever had!

What a bright and shining fiesta on a cold autumn night in Albany! El Loco Mexican Cafe was an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff was friendly and inviting, the drinks were perfectly made (the house margarita was delicious—no sweetners, fresh lime, choice of tequila), and the food pleased all of our varied tastes, including a vegan! The mole negro with veggies and tofu was delightful!!! The sides were unique and tastefully seasoned. I am so glad we found this little gem before we flew out of Albany.
