The people who work here are so friendly! Worth the visit for that alone. One of their best features is their margarita selection. Highly recommend and one of the best Mexican food choices in Albany
As one of the first new try's since the state opened up we were really disappointed. The food was adequate but not good. We spent close to $80.00 (for 4) and left feeling a bit hungry. The service was bad and we had trouble getting refills and additions. I will also say there was only four tables with customers. We were never asked if we'd like desert but the check came promptly. In a very competitive restaurant environment I don't believe El Palenque in Albany will survive. I know there are better Mexican restaurants in the local ar...
