Really good Chile, cozy atmosphere

As we entered the restaurant, an extremely rude and confrontational employee caused a scene. I don’t know if he was having a bad day or if this is normal. We left shortly after without ordering. I will never consider giving this restaurant another chance. You just don’t treat people that way. It’s just wrong.

Outdoor seating in a garden! We had to look hard because El Patio de Albuquerque was hiding in plain sight. A friendly host greeted us and and seated us immediately. After presenting the menus, he told us that he was very short-staffed and thanked us in advance for being patient. Luckily, we didn't experience wait times any longer than seemed normal. Everything was yummy, too. The chips and guacamole were excellent. We were delighted to see whole beans instead of the refried type when the plates arrived. Chile rellenos and carne adovada were standouts with their strong flavors and toothsome sides. Best of all, a bottle of honey and warm sopapillas were brought to the table just as we were enjoying our last bite of the main meal. Mmmm, warm pastry dripping in honey. I think I love this place.
