El Pueblito Patio in Houston

A little late to the game, but was finally able to check this place out.  We went super early on a Friday night and were the first diners there.  Although the cabanas were already reserved we got there so early (5:30pm), they were able to accommodate us.  Staff was super attentive and never rushed us despite our cabana being reserved for 7pm.  We had the HH limeritas (strong!), shrimp ceviche, blacken trout, and salmon.  Everything was delicious and we received generous portions. The green salsa had pineapple in it which I liked (made it sweet and spicy) but others may not.  My hubs liked the shrimp ceviche but I didn't think it was a teue ceviche bc the shrimp was cooked with heat versus cooked with lime juice.  Cabanas were festive with lights but a little run down and could use some TLC.  Overall, it was a nice date night location and am eager.to tey it again when it is busier and more festive with live music.  Careful of the parking!

Somehow I caught this place completely empty! My server was the best kind: super genuine! Crab cakes were yummy and prices on drinks are reasonable.

Excellent customer service by the owner (Eduardo) himself, as well as his staff. On this particular night, Emilia was our waitress and she took care of us and was very attentive. It felt like a very personal dining experience because Eduardo took time to have a conversation with us (like always), and asked for feedback on the food, etc. The food and drinks were excellent, and the presentation of the food was superb (look at the photos). It’s always such a pleasant dining experience at El Pueblito Patio - and the food is delicious! Absolutely love this place - and even more so when we can dine outside in the cabana seating area.
