Pleasan surprise Lunch at this restaurant was part of bus tour in Houston and this stop was well worth it. This legendary restaurant did not disappoint. The carne guisada lunch plate made my day. The beef tips, potatoes and even mushrooms were delightful, as well as the traditional rice, beans, guacamole and four tortillas

This place has delicious food and good service! The salsa that comes with the chips was awesome, smoky salsa and a creamy avocado sauce. Both were great! I had the brisket burrito and I highly recommend it! It was a huge serving full of yummy brisket. My husband had the jalapeno sausage burrito, again, super delicious. We will definitely return!

In a town full of Mexican food restaurants ........ El Tiempo is a great choice. Fun atmosphere and good service. The food is not just served, it's presented with nice touches and delicious flavor. I'm on a mission now to see if all the locations are as good as the Navigation one.
