Let me start by saying I understand and support a restaurant's need to update their pricing to remain profitable while the costs to do business increase; however, I do have a problem with the disingenuous way that this restaurant has chosen to do this.Elliott's Oyster House has effectively increased the price of every menu item by 20%, but rather than updating the menu prices, they advertise one price and then tack on a "20% Service Charge" at the end. Here is how they explain it -"Thank you for dining with us. A 20% service charge is included on each guest check. The Entirety of the service charge is retained by the company. This service charge helps enable us to offer our valued service team competitive industry compensation, which includes a commission on sales and benefits. We are required by law to collect tax on the service charge. If you would like to leave a gratuity for exception service, your server will maintain 100% of your generosity."I have no complaints about the service or the food itself which is why I'm not going straight to 1-star, but I cannot support this di...
