My review is completely biased... I have lived In Albuquerque for most of my life and had yet to find a place that makes my home city dish. Until a random rendezvous at Encanto... Gorditas. Deliciously filled with you choice of 6 different items. For those who have yet to try this. It is a small round fat tortilla. About 1/3 inch thick. Either corn or flour....

If you are in need of a cheap bite to eat this is the place to go. As a disclaimer the restaurant is an older joint with the old building smell, but if that doesn't bother you than give it a try. The chips and salsa are very good! The salsa is spicy and the chips are pipping hot! Also the burritos are huge and pretty good as well! The restaurant is family owned and the staff is very very friendly! If you are on a budget this place is for you! We got two large burritos (one breakfast and one bean), chips and salsa, and a bottled Sprite for a little over $9.
