Staff was not very friendly or helpful. I called ahead to reserve two lanes and was told that was fine but when we got there they said that's not allowed because we only have 5 people. Then we see the people next to us only have 4 people but are using both. When my daughter says something about it they mumble something about why they are allowed and that if we don't follow the rules then we will get kicked out. Finally since there were no other people using the lanes the manger said we could use them. The boards in the one lane we hard were so beat up that our axes weren't even sticking when we threw them. Overall not a great place and overpriced.

This is a really cool place and something different to do! We really enjoyed our experience here as it was our first time ever axe throwing. The staff was friendly and very thorough with directions. This place is attached to Quaker Steak & Lube which is nice because we were able to order food/drinks while playing! It is a little pricey for the time you get to axe throw because between trying to eat food and socialize plus play the game we only made it through 1.5 games, but it was still fun! We will definitely go back in the future!

DO NOT recommend Erie axe throwing. I’ve been to two other axe throwing businesses and they were way more organized and put together. I was in the area to come here with friends. Our “axe master ” Tyler didn’t teach us anything he just watched us throw the first time and walked away. Did not teach any rules of the game or care to check in on us. Also had a bad personality and spoke so quietly we could not hear him. Hoping that the new axe throwing place coming to Erie is a more enjoyable experience.
