This place has the best Pierogi I have had outside of two trips my wife and I took to Krakow. Having lived a few blocks away for most of my life I can't believe I didn't know about them until coming back and trying to find something that isn't Mrs. T's. Seriously, if you have only ever had frozen pierogi, you should try some of theirs here. I know they are known for their sandwiches supposedly, but you won't regret trying their meat or sauerkraut versions. They also have some home baked items that vary from visit to visit worth checking out.

I was really looking forward to this place . Being raised polish I always look forward to trying out European restaurants in the area. Service was painfully slow . Strange especially when there's only 6 customers in the dining room. Everything was microwaved . I had the Borscht. It was edible & I've had better let's put it that way, even the color was strange. Looks absolutely nothing like the one in the other yelper's picture I saw . My husband had the goulash he liked it. They give you a basket of home made bread that's pretty good, mind you they give it to you refrigerator cold with no butter . They also don't tell you they charge you for the bread till you get the bill & we didn't even ask for the bread in the first place. The meat pierogis were the only thing that were decent, the mushroom one was super doughy like it was undercooked . Sorry not likely to come back or recommend.
