All of summer I have been trying different ice cream places and Fainting Goat was on my list. Last night we drove from West Seattle to this place to try their gelatos. We ordered 2 small scoops (2 flavors) one with Stracciatella+ Chocolate Fondante and the other with Chocolate Fondante+Sea Salt Caramel. Everything tasted good. The gelatos were delicious BUT the customer service was HORRIBLE. It was my first time visiting this place and obviously as an ice cream lover I was confused as to what to order but my husband was clear and ready to order immediately. I told the young lady behind the counter that I was confused and if she could help me out. She rolled her eyes and did not respond even though she stood right there judging me. I was looking at the different options trying to make up my mind (and reading the ingredients in some gelatos since I was not familiar with it at all being my first time here) and she seemed grumpy and irritated. Trust me this was all in 30 seconds to a min max so its not like I was standing there confused not knowing what to order for 10...

Do it. It's so good. The hazelnut and pistachio flavors taste like they should, not that over sweet fake syrupy flavor that you get at most places. We had a group of 6 and between all of us, everything was great. Gelato, sorbet, affogato - all delicious. Service was exceptional. All around 5 stars.

Our last stop of the night was at Fainting Goat Gelato. Always love trying out new gelato spots. It's a few doors from Yoroshiku. We dropped in on a late Friday evening (around 10:30pm). The inside is small with half a dozen tables. They had 14 gelato and sorbet flavours available. We sampled a couple before we made our decision. Scoops are on the pricey side ($4.95 US single, $6.50 US double and $8.50 US triple). - Two scoops ($6.50 US) - we went with pear ginger sorbet and Mexican vanilla. Sorbet was refreshing but I tasted more ginger than pear flavour. Good but the flavour was a bit too subtle. Mexican vanilla was much more satisfying; reminded me of horchata. Think they mix cinnamon into this. I'd get it again. FGG was worth a try but we weren't blown away by their gelato and sorbet flavours. 3.5 stars.
