Not only were they not enforcing the mask mandate but the cook was in the back with no mask as well. That's unacceptable 2 years into the pandemic and a business should know better. Been going here since a child but won't be going back anytime soon.

I ordered 4 tamales with crema, queso and GREEN salsa. i got 4 tamales little to no crema or queso. To top things off the lady had put RED SALSA on my tamales and when I reminded her what I had ordered she didn't even bother to fix my order she just responded " well thats the only salsa we have right now the green one is out". Horrible customer service. Please save your money & time .

Fernandez and the Ortiz (Seven Trees and Capitol Epwy) are my go to bakeries. I love the bread here at Fernandez it is very good. Bread is fresh and delicious. The Mexico bakery is a few blocks down but i have never likes their food or bread: Just the tortas. Try the Pan Dulce here if you want non-dry, fresh, tasty almost as good as Mexico's pan dulce. The cakes are good too. 4 stars because the workers can be a little nicer. And there has been times when they ran out of bread i want later in the evening but what can i expect with yummy bread.
