heard raves about this place so had to try. catfish rolls- the catfish was overcooked. the sauce that came with it was very salty. maybe needed more sugar or pineapple juice. had snail, clam, oyster- overcooked. the owner and staff were very friendly. food seemed fresh. really wanted to like this place.

Not entirely sure why none of the previous reviews don't mention that the store front display is written in Korean buuuuuutttt check my photos to get any confusion squared away. There's a pretty messy area in the back towards the register. They're using a restaurant booth as a desk and there's some built up small restaurant furniture too. There's a slight aroma going on but not overwhelming. Ordered the grilled whelk snails with fat and onion. Definitely delicious and my first time having any escargot. There was also some grilled peanuts that really gave another textural component to complete a fully comprised bite! Then came the Thai Seafood Hotpot. A sweet yet savory with a dash of spice broth! Sweet from pineapples that bask in the broth. Also served with 2 fish steaks that were so good, shrimp, squid, snails, mussels, tomatoes and okra. You also get a full vegetable tray and vermicelli. The owner came by to check on us and then that turned into 2 short conversations. Next time I'll be trying the lobster and likely the goat or chicken hotpot. There was a little language barrier so I wasn't able to order trays of meat like I wanted but overall would try again.
