Sevierville store for a special anniversary dinner. We called the order in at 3:00 p.m. paid for it at 3:57 p.m. and still did not receive the mail until 4:20 p.m. when we got home, the order was only half of what we actually ordered, half of the order was wrong, and the meatloaf was raw in the middle. I attached a picture of the meatloaf so you can see how bad it really was. We ordered greens but instead received a pan of mashed potatoes that were dry and crumbled like bread. We also received a pan of macaroni and cheese that was below room temperature. During my hour and a half wait, I also witnessed a waitress walking out of the kitchen carrying a tray of food to deliver to a table, while eating bread and bread crumbs were falling off of her chin. Absolutely good food. The fried green tomatoes are perfection on a plate. Had the fried chicken with FGT and GreenBeans. Man was it plenty and good. Also had the kettle of chicken & dumplings and it was just like those my great grandmother use to make. Lotta food! Now the waitress, Hanna was so adorable and sweet. She is everything good in a perfect server.

Five Oaks Farm Kitchen's claim to fame is that it honors the medical professional (Dr. Ogle) who made house calls to the locals in times past. With photos of the doctor blown up to rock star status, smoking a cigar; it is not difficult to imagine a prescription for such to cure what ails one after eating here. The place is certainly less conspicuously odious than many of the simulacrum nearby and features a bee-hive-having fountain out front (Warning! Don't throw rocks!). If you judge a place by t-shirts for sales-this place scores.  Let me start with the pros. This place is welcoming and inviting, the crew is warm and accommodating. I want to commend them on the potato soup (which in truth could be called an onion soup with potato) and was indeed promisingly delicious. The prime rib was cooked to order and fine though not outstanding. The smoked BBQ plate meats of pork butt shoulder, ribs, and brisket were all edible and given one's preferences could be described as tasty. On the down side, the water tasted funky, the salad elements had that unfortunate mild mildewy flavor that is common for high-volume-infrequ...
