My husband and I are new to Iowa but we legit almost moved to Ankeny because of Flavory Bistro. I think it's our favorite restaurant here. We didn't end up living in Ankeny but every time we are in town we make a stop there. The food is super tasty, fresh, and flavorful. The staff is kind, friendly and they are sympathetic to dietary restrictions like dairy free/gluten free etc. I LOVE their hummus. It tastes like a delicious cloud. There is also a lot to visit in this shopping center so in non covid times you could probably stay for a while. We have been getting ours to go during covid and my only critique is that the sauces/dressings should have lids because we have had them spill on the food during transport. Otherwise it's perfect!
