Had a weird experience with what I think was an early opening of this restaurant... They have a smaller taco selection and the same tacos are more expensive what's more, it took much longer as I believe they were prioritizing the takeout window rather than the sit-down restaurant. Food is good anyway itself is very nice however the food was a little bit cold when it arrived and they didn't quite get our order right. Would love to try this again maybe once they've gotten everything up to par
Had wanted to like this place since I love tacos and it was easy to order. I especially appreciate the idea of a sampler of six different tacos (to share between two people for $20), the first time around to see what I may like best to order on my next visit. The idea of a mixture of chicken mole, carne asada, grilled shrimp, root vegetables, cochinita pibil and carnitas was appealing but unfortunately the tacos were soaking in oil and broke into pieces the moment you picked them up making them neither tasty nor easy to eat. The taco shells were only about 4-4.5” across and tasted old. Although the meat and shrimp were cooked well, the soggy tacos made everything in them unappealing. It was a huge disappointment. Would definitely not recommend. The person who took our order was very nice and the food came out in less than 10 minutes. You can even watch them prepare it, should that be your thing.
