Oh my god! I haven't had this strong of a reaction to a restaurant in quite awhile. When you eat at Flower Child, you know on a visceral level that the food is good for you. The wholesomeness of the food. The textures. The flavor combinations. All add up to a truly inspired menu. I started with the Mother Earth bowl a couple of weeks ago. I've had it on numerous occasions since, ordering it with the various protein options (tofu, chicken, and shrimp). I'm surprised to admit that I prefer the tofu. Today I tried a dish that is not on the regular menu, Alex's Epic Baked Meatballs. Very satisfying! To sum things up, the food is healthy and tasty. The portions are reasonable. I promise you will love it. Just a warning about the Uptown location. It's a madhouse at lunch during the week...
