We love Flying Fish and are never disappointed. Our last meal there a few months ago was phenomenal, thanks in no small part to the manager's gracious hospitality. We ordered a sampling of menu items and loved everything- how rare is that? Can't wait to go back.

Perfectly fried catfish and shrimp done cornmeal style. Also one of the best side dishes anywhere: borracho beans and rice. Everything was fresh, hot, and plentiful. Will definitely be back. Went on a Thursday at noon and only had to wait 10 minutes in line to order and 10 more minutes for the food. Free refills of tea and they have to go cups for the road. Friendly cashier who answered all my silly questions.

From the beginning, I enjoyed it. Unfortunately last few times I've been, it was disappointing. I usually order the Fried Shrimp plate, if lacked flavors, breading was over seasoned, lost my tastebuds for a bit. I don't think Flying Fish is for me anymore
