Price does not equal quality. Flying Spoons has great aesthetics and a wonderful atmosphere but the food quality does not reflect the persona that they are trying to reflect. I could have received the same quality of food and customer service at an Applebee's or other "affordable family restaurant" w/out the bells and whistles of appearance and paid half the price. I am a resident of Knoxville, TN but had clients staying at The Embassy Suites while they were in town so I figured I would treat them to Flying Sppons because of its appearance and the fact that I had been curious about the restaurant because I had never eaten there. After spending close to $1200 for eight people to eat and drink we all left there very disappointed.

Cajun Shrimp Pasta is not Cajun. Perhaps they were out of Cajun spices and decided red pepper would work. They put Way too much red pepper and over powered any flavor there was.
