Fog Room in Seattle

Amanda was spectacular, part of two seated right away with booked solid reservations! Start off with the “Flying Home” cocktail which was delicious and not too Smokey or spicy mezcal drink. Highly recommend. Sharing fries as an app with the lounge seating was weird but the cheese sauce made the choice worth while. This upscale service lounge was like Vegas in Seattle. I highly recommended the experiences.Food wise: Lobster RollPerfectly balanced and skillfully created, it was not over run with mayo like some I’ve had. I wouldn’t get it again, and the only reason would be because I want to try something else. With amazing menu items to choose from including a juicy burger like my compatriot had ordered bringing bar food at the Fog Room to a whole new comfort level.Finish: Pear CobblerDo it, the white peppercorn ice cream alone was a taste sensation in and of itself. In a hot crock with spice pear crumble this cobbler was a perfect pearing.Additional note: Room charge availability when staying at The Charter was a nice surprise.I would definitely recommend a visit to the Fog Room, be stunned by the views and superb service. I will be back again.

Best atmosphere downtown

First time at the Fog Room for my boyfriend and I's anniversary. We made the reservation about 2 weeks prior and left a note that it was a special day, if we could please get a nice spot in the restaurant. Staff did sit us right away, although great seating was available both inside and outside we were sat at the back near the kitchen entrance. Not the vibe we were going for at all. We also were just coming for drinks and dessert and the drink I had was great. My  bf loves old fashions and they just did not have those down. Dessert was recommended by the waiter but did not mention it was a flourless, vegan/GF option. (Although that's great that they have those options!) it just wasn't what we were looking for in a chocolate cake. Price was reasonable and they include 20% gratuity automatically.
