Popped in around 4:45 one Sunday night at the end of November with my girlfriend. I phoned ahead to see if I could bring my own container to scoop into, and because of COVID, the person on the phone said no but was very friendly about it. The space and storefront were adorable and so inviting. All the flavors sounded delicious, and I sampled the California Cabin (yum, could really taste the pepper). My partner got a scoop of mint brownie in a cup and I got the chocolate supercake with the dark cocoa fudge and edible flower sprinkle-sprankles. My girlfriend, who doesn't even necessArily like chocolate, loved mine and liked hers more after it melted a bit (as ice cream tastes sweeter at warmer temperatures). I really liked mine and liked hers too, as the mint flavor was light and not too minty. I also love brownies. Would definitely come back! Many of the flavors are sweetened only with dates which I also appreciate. Looking forward to trying the ash caramel and the crunchy waffle cones. My girlfriend treated us - I think our order together was around $12, so either a splurge or a "middle-class" delight.

I have been waiting to make this review for a while folks! Frankie & Joe's is a women-owned, certified b-corporation, plant based and gluten free. Yes, I said plant based & GF ice cream and it is a mouthgasmn. I have NEVER in my li...

Frankie & Jo's hyped up their cookies and cream flavor as being amazing, but it was pretty average. I thought the moon goo might be like a hot fudge, but it actually turned out to have coconut in it, which I don't like. For some reason I thought the tahini fudge would be chocolate fudge, but it wasn't. It was nice fudge, though. Kind of buttery. The ice cream itself was unpleasantly grainy, maybe because of the flecks of Theo chocolate. Overall, the freckled tahini fudge flavor was just "okay." The waffle cones are still excellent. They're a thicker cone, almost like a cookie, with a unique brown sugar maple flavor. The ice cream flavors at Frankie & Jo's are more of...
