Food and drinks were solid!! Fried chicken was great. Valets were super friendly and helpful! Hostess was very cordial and nice. Waitress seemed like she wanted her shift to end. (It's a busy season, i get it. )

the service was alright, a bit slow. but the waitress was nice. the food itself was so incredibly BLAND. no one at our table enjoyed their plate. they were just too nice so they didn’t send it back. everything is under seasoned and some meat wasn’t cooked properly. how are you going to serve soul food without soul?? the drinks were better. the “complementary” valet was picky on who they wanted to service. i would not recommend this restaurant if you use more than 3 seasonings in your own food.

When I think of home, I think of Frank's Americana Revival. Not only does their food speak to your soul, but the owners and employees make you feel right at home. After being in Chicago for the last 5 years, it felt good to enjoy a farm to table, cooked from the heart meal, back home in Houston.
