Really good oyster, had ordered the baked oyster bingo, very tasty. The two main dishes were okay, not quite as impressive, so was the cocktail.

Huge disappointment. Sat at 7:15 no oysters or bread Gnocchi was over cooked and tough . Prawns were over cooked. They said they were out of oysters and bread because it was the end of restaurant week, not sure what that had to do with a bad meal. I took guests there and was very embarrassed and very disappointed.

A friend and I went to Frank's Oyster House & Champagne Parlor tonight after making a reservation a few days prior.  We were going for Happy Hour but planned on staying for dinner, as well.  The interior is darling and the staff could not have been more gracious.  We ended up ordering a glass of rosé each, half-dozen oysters, house made chips with dip, pork tacos, and poutine.  We didn't finish any of it after finding a very long hair in the poutine when using the serving spoon to serve a portion.  At first I thought it was just stringy cheese but upon closer inspection it was, indeed, a very long hair that was twisted into the poutine.  After we mentioned it to them they did remove it from the table and the bill and comp'd the wine which was a lovely, generous, and appreciated but our appetites were ruined so we paid the remaining bill and left quickly.  As we were leaving we noticed in the window that they had been recently granted an "OKAY" rating (via the new King County Food Safety Rating System) which is not great, in my opinion.  So much potential in this little place.  I hope they can turn it around.  We do not have any plans to go back.
